One thing we always like to remind customers is that these TVs aren't small – they’re not designed to be ultra-slim and light like the one in your living room.
The extra size and weight come from essential features that ensure your TV will survive in all conditions. Some of these include a corrosion-resistant and heatproof metal casing, an IP65 rating to keep out water and dust, and a built-in cooling system with fans to prevent overheating. SPARK TVs can withstand temperatures up to 50ºC!
NITS - What are they?
When you're talking about outdoor TVs, you'll often hear about "NITS." NITS are a way of measuring how bright the screen gets. The higher the number of nits, the brighter the TV and therefore the clearer the picture in bright conditions.
We define our models into two categories: Partial Sun - 1000 NITS, and Full Sun - 2000 NITS.
Our Partial Sun TVs are ideal for areas where the screen is not exposed to direct sunlight, for example a veranda or patio. On the other hand, our Full Sun TV’s are designed for areas that the screen will be getting direct sunlight or in a high reflection area, such as directly next to your pool.
