Mounting our Spark Outdoor TVs

When planning the installation of your new Spark Outdoor TV, mounting will be a big consideration.

Whilst our TVs are different from indoor TVs in some aspects, they share a lot of similarities, including mounting. The Spark range uses a 600x400 VESA mounting system, which is a very common mounting system used on indoor TVs.

One consideration when looking for a mounting system is the maximum load capacity of the mount. As all our TVs are made with galvanised steel and include fan systems to cool the unit down on hot days, they are significantly heavier than indoor TVs, ranging from 22kg to 53kg.

When selecting a mounting system, the primary things to look for are:

• VESA 600x400 compatible
• Maximum load capacity greater than the weight of the TV.

For the 65” and 75”, we have tested multiple swivel mounts which claim to be rated up to 60kg, however while these mounts do hold the TV, the mount itself does bow under the weight of the larger models. For the larger models we recommend using fixed wall mounts as these are rated for much higher weight (up to 100kg) and will provide a much more rigid mount.
